Bryce A. Budin Co-Founds Chicago Women in IP
Chapman Spingola partner Bryce A. Budin, along with six other Intellectual Property attorneys, recently founded Chicago Women in IP (ChiWIP), a networking and mentoring group for professional Chicago women in all stages of practice of every facet of IP law.
ChiWIP is a forum for women IP law professionals to share their successes and challenges with other women more openly than they might with colleagues at their own firms, said Bryce.
Through regularly scheduled events, ChiWIP offers seminars, knowledge sharing, career resources and leadership opportunities for personal and professional development.
ChiWIP is open to private practice attorneys, in-house counsel, chief IP officers, federal judges and magistrates, IP consultants and service providers, as well as law school students.
Nearly 100 people attended the organizations kickoff reception this summer, with a similarly impressive turnout at a panel discussion on personal branding strategies earlier this month.
