Suhani Mehrotra is a skilled litigation associate at Chapman Spingola LLP, where she represents businesses and individuals in complex commercial, intellectual property, and technology-related disputes. Her practice encompasses all stages of litigation in federal and state courts, as well as arbitration and mediation proceedings.

Ms. Mehrotra has significant experience handling matters involving patent and trademark infringement, breach of contract, legal malpractice, and other high-stakes business disputes. She regularly drafts and argues dispositive motions, manages written and electronic discovery, takes and defends depositions, works with expert witnesses, and represents clients in settlement negotiations, arbitration hearings, and pre-trial conferences. She also advises clients on pre-litigation strategy. She also plays a leadership role in supervising junior associates.

Ms. Mehrotra earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law, where she served as Note and Comments Editor for the Arizona Journal of International and Comparative Law and competed in the Giles S. Rich Memorial Moot Court. During law school, she participated in the Intellectual Property Clinic, advising start-ups and entrepreneurs on patents, trademark, and copyright matters.

She is actively involved in the legal community through her roles with Chicago Women in IP, where she served as Co-Chair of the Mentoring Circle Committee.
