My practice focuses on transactional matters where I represent and advise clients in a variety of technology, business, and intellectual property transactions. Typical agreements and matters I have handled include software licensing agreements, software-as-a-service agreements, non-disclosure agreements, consulting agreements, data privacy and security, privacy policies, statements of works, asset purchase agreements, and other complex business transactions. In addition to handling various business transactions, I have experience providing clients with strategic counseling regarding the protection and registration of trademarks and copyrights.

Prior to joining as an Associate, I was a Summer Associate with Chapman Spingola. This opportunity allowed me to gain valuable experience including legal research, drafting and editing agreements, and assisting in larger transactions. My valuable experience prior to joining the firm full-time provided me with the opportunity to develop my transactional skills. I strive to use these experiences and skills to effectively achieve my clients’ interests and goals.

I earned my Juris Doctor at Loyola University Chicago School of Law. During law school, I was an editor for the Loyola Law Journal and received the CALI award for earning the highest grade in Legal Writing II and Federal Income Tax. Prior to law school, I received my bachelor’s degree from Illinois Wesleyan University where I majored in Economics, minored in Computer Science, and was the captain of the men’s soccer team as a senior.

I have represented transactional clients in a broad range of industries including:

  • Financial Services, including securities trading and investing
  • Software development and licensing
  • Data Security
  • Fashion
  • Music, movies, and other forms of media and entertainment
