At its 42nd Annual Alumni Awards Celebration, IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law recognized Chapman Spingola, LLP with the Institutional Partner Award. This annual Alumni Awards Celebration is a program of the Chicago-Kent Alumni Board of Directors, which recognizes outstanding alumni for their contributions to the profession, the law school and the community.
“We were honored to accept the award on behalf of the firm and are proud of Chapman Spingola’s contributions from mentorship to employment of fellow Chicago-Kent students and graduates,” said Shannon Knight, Partner and Chicago-Kent College of Law Class of 2011. “Over the last decade, I feel fortunate to have built my career at Chapman Spingola, where I focus primarily in the areas of complex commercial, intellectual property, and technology-related litigation.”
Since the firm’s inception in 2004, Chicago-Kent students and graduates have helped shape the firm and worked in various roles.
“We look forward to working with our 2021 Summer Associate, and our incoming 2021 Associate class,” said Chapman Spingola partner, Sara Siegall, who began with the firm during her second year at Chicago-Kent in 2007. “It has been exciting to help build the firm, from a small handful of attorneys in 2007 to a team of more than twenty by August of this year. Our growth is built on the results we have achieved for clients, often in difficult and complex matters, with some of the most preeminent large firms as opposing counsel. The talent drawn from Chicago-Kent, myself, Shannon and Peter Spingola included, is an important part of the firm’s success story.”
