Chapman Spingola, LLP represented Niles, Illinois-based M&S Technologies, a leader in digital vision testing systems, in an acquisition by Hilco Vision, a portfolio company of private equity firm, Windjammer Capital Investors. The acquisition closed on December 31, 2020. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Transactional partners Robert Nagy and Michael Fatall led the Chapman Spingola team, which included Michael Black, Alexander Karl and Ryan Kaplan.

“The combination of Chapman Spingola’s M&A and IP practice areas place the firm in a position of strength when it comes to negotiating tech transactions of all kinds, and we are thrilled to have closed a successful transaction on behalf of M&S Technologies and its principals,” said Nagy and Fatall.

“We could not be more pleased with the work of the Chapman Spingola team,” said Joseph Marino, who founded M&S Technologies in 1990. “The sale was handled with the utmost efficiency, professionalism and integrity.”

“With the successful closing of the M&S Technologies transaction, Chapman Spingola continues to serve as a trusted advisor in middle-market M&A with particular expertise in the area of technology deals,” said Peter Spingola, Partner and Co-founder of Chapman Spingola.
